For hiring companies

One recruiter who knows your field beats five who don't.

Most recruiters who approach you cover a range of industries. The one we would introduce you to works yours. That is the distinction, and it is the whole of what we do.

What usually happens

A generalist sends resumes. A specialist sends people worth meeting.

You have likely seen the pattern. A recruiter takes the brief, runs a search outside their usual territory, and returns volume rather than judgment. The screening then falls back to you, which is the work you were trying to delegate.

Someone who works your field daily already knows who is strong, who is open to a move, and what the role pays in practice. That is a materially different conversation.

What you're agreeing to

It's a conversation. That's it.

Nothing is signed, nothing is owed, and nothing proceeds without your agreement.

Someone who fills this role already

Not a generalist taking your brief for the first time. Someone whose practice is your field, with the network that comes from staying in it.

It costs you nothing

No fee to be introduced and nothing owed to us at any stage. If you go on to hire through them, you agree terms with them directly.

You run the conversation

You speak with them directly and decide whether it is a fit. We are not on the call and we do not manage the search.

Nothing is shared early

Your details reach the recruiter only after you have agreed to the introduction. Until then you are not identified.

The other half of the job

When we won't introduce you.

Declining is most of this work. An introduction that costs you an hour and goes nowhere does us more damage than making none at all.

The role isn't real yet

If the hire is provisional, there is nothing to discuss yet. We would rather return when there is.

You're not looking outside

Many teams hire well without help. If an outside recruiter is not under consideration, that is a complete answer and we leave it there.

We don't have the right person

If no one we work with genuinely covers your field, we will say so rather than offer the nearest approximation.

The process

What happens after you reply

STEP ONE

Tell us about the role

What you are hiring for, the approximate compensation, and whether you are the person running the hire. A few lines is enough.

STEP TWO

We confirm we have the right recruiter

If we do, we tell you who they are and why. If we do not, we say so, and you have spent a minute on it.

STEP THREE

You take the call

You speak with the recruiter directly, at a time you choose. What follows is between the two of you.

Start a conversation

Tell us what you need.

Tell us what you are hiring for, or what you place. If we are not the right people for it, we will say so.
